SALT: Stand Alone Laser Thermal mount. Run a diving board-like setup without the riser and optic mount being one piece. Move it anywhere on the picatinny top rail facing forward, or in reverse for certain thermal and laser devices.

The SALT can also be used to host a FTS magnifier like the EOtech G33. Optics like the EOTECH EXPS-3, Lead and Steel LP1, Vortex Huey, SIG ROMEO 8T will work with the SALT if you chose to attach an optic.
